Congratulations to all of our 30+ South students that participated in the OMEA District 4 Vocal/Instrumental Solo and Ensemble Contest. We are so proud of your growth and commitment to your individual performance. Score sheets can be picked up from your voice teacher. Below you will find the results for students that placed and/or will be representing South at the OSAA State Solo Contest on April 28 at Pacific University.

This is a reminder that next week our freshmen choirs, Bella Voce and Statesmen, will be representing South at the Salem-Keizer Intermediate Choral Festival on Tuesday, 3/6 at West Salem HS. The concert will begin at 7:00PM and the call time to meet in the lobby of the West Salem HS Auditorium is 6:00PM.
Students are to come dressed for this performance. Below, you will find a reminder of the concert dress for Bella Voce and Statesmen.
Bella Voce – Blue and white robe (provided), dresses should be worn under robes, and are not to exceed the length of the robe, black dress shoes (close toed and flat)
Statesmen – Royal blue bowtie (provided), lay collar white dress shirt, black dress pants, black socks, and black dress shoes.
Below is the schedule for the vocal portion of Solo and Ensemble. This event is held on 3/10 at McNary HS. Please check your times and communicate with your accompanist. Plan to arrive 30 minutes in advance, dressed in nice clothing, and find your teacher to help you get the original copy for the judge!
