We are excited to have everyone back at school tomorrow! The next two weeks are very busy so be sure to check your calendars to know what’s on the horizon. Below you will find reminders about the upcoming week.
-Symphonic Choir rehearses 2:40-3:30 tomorrow afternoon.
-Symphonic Choir members are to turn in $10 to Brandon Miller for t-shirts ASAP. We will be wearing these Tuesday on our day trip.
–Symphonic Choir travels to Portland Tuesday CLICK HERE FOR THE ITINERARY Students will be excused from school all day. Please be sure your robe is at school, you bring your music and a pencil, concert attire, money for lunch, and know you will have a pizza dinner at Union HS.
–Symphonic Choir & Chanteuse sing at the Greater Valley Conference Choir Festival at West Salem High School on Tuesday, April 7. Chanteuse will arrive at West Salem High School at 3:00PM and sing at 4:00PM. Symphonic Choir will arrive at West Salem High School at 7:00PM and are the last choir to sing of the festival at 8:00PM. Be prepared to sing, sightread and observe other great choirs from our Greater Valley Conference! Remember there will not be transportation provided for this event.
–Southernaires will rehearse every morning this week and have an after school rehearsal. Southernaires after school rehearsals (one day a week only) will continue until the completion of the Willamette Jazz Festival (April 24). Be sure to have reviewed “Bunch of Blues,” “I Like the Sunrise,” and “Georgia!”
–All Choirs perform at The Spring Concert, April 9th at 7:30 in the Rose Auditorium at South. Be sure to tell your friends and families because this is sure to be a great concert! Call time for all choirs will be 6:30PM.
-Symphonic Choir has a clinic on Saturday April 11, 9AM-12PM with Dr. Richard Nance from Pacific Lutheran University. This has been on the calendar since August, so this is a date all members are needed for. Bring you pencils, music, and great work ethic with you!
–Oregon Bach Festival Auditions will be held on Thursday in the Choir Room. Please click here for more information about this great opportunity!
