The Choir State Championships are on this coming Saturday, May 9 at George Fox University’s Bauman Auditorium. Below there is information for parents, families, spectators and students. The itinerary for the day can be found by clicking this link: State Choir Itinerary.
Important Information for Parents
We encourage family and parents to come support our singers at State! Because we perform right before the awards ceremony, it is likely that the audience will be quite large. We suggest that parents arrive early to secure seats for the performance (We recommend to arrive around 5PM). Below you will find important notes from OSAA:
Online Ticket Purchasing: http://www.osaa.org/activities/cho Pre-order tickets for the Choir State Championships are available until 10:00AM on May 5. All orders will be placed at the event site Will Call window and are available for pick-up beginning May 7.
Ticket Prices on Site (These tickets are good for all day and it is CASH ONLY): Adult – $8 Student – $5
Parking: Spectator Parking is available in the Bauman Auditorium Parking Lot. Additionally, there is parking on the street and in the nearby Hoover Parking Lot.

Taking Photos/Video: Audience members are welcome to videotape from the audience if they do so in a way that does not impede the view of other spectators. Tri-pods will not be allowed into the auditorium.
Student Things to Remember
***Bring only essential items on this trip; there will be no holding place at George Fox***
Choir Robe
Concert Attire for Females: Black tights, black flats, diamond-like stud earrings, no jewelry (no facial jewelry)
Concert Attire for Males: Black dress pants, black socks, no jewelry/watches
Females are to be in dresses/skirts when they are not in robes
Males are to be in a plain (no graphic) t shirt when they are not in robes
Goodie Bags
Money for CD’s, DVD’s, T-Shirts, Food, etc.
