Tomorrow we start the second half of the 2014-2015 school year! There are a number of new faces in Choir this semester and we will continue to add more in the next two weeks! Here are some reminders for everyone!
-Review our Choir Handbook for expectations, opportunities, and information. Remember that all Handbook Forms must be completed to perform at any concert.
-Check the Choir Calendar for dates, times, and upcoming events.
-Follow us on Twitter, @Saxon_Choir, to get updates and reminders. Don’t have Twitter but want updates? Click here
-We would love to have more of you in voice lessons. With Solo Contest on the horizon, this would be a great way to jump-start your technique and performance. If you would like to start up lessons, please review and fill out the voice lesson packet.
-All-City Choir Rehearsals begin this Wednesday. We will have one more review session on Tuesday from 3:30-5:00Pm in the Choir Room. Check the All-City schedule to be sure you have those rehearsals accounted for as they are mandatory for All-City singers.
-Chanteuse will meet at 2nd period and no longer 1st period, please plan accordingly! Please review your music tonight as we need to hit the ground running tomorrow!
-Southernaires will not meet this week. Please look at “I Like the Sunrise” and have it prepared for Monday. All singers should look at the solo as it will be sung by different members.
-Symphonic Choir has their January retreat this Saturday, January 31st from 9AM-4PM. Please bring your music, pencils, water, lunch and comfortable clothes!
-Symphonic Choir will take 2nd lunch this Thursday, January 29th as we have Dr. Steve Zielke from Oregon State coming for a visit!
-We are also looking for donations of any concert attire that you may have: Black dress shoes, socks, black flats, button-down black or light blue shirts.
